"Celebrating 5 years of Ateljé!! 🦪✨So five years ago, I hand-crafted my very first pearl phone cord. Without a big business plan; or any plan at all really. There was just nothing like it on the market, and it was an experiment. I had no idea it would spark the beginning of something so special, I just knew that it made ME excited to dress up my phone, because I enjoy it when the little things around me make me happy. What started with late nights, packing orders with Jordy and obsessing over the tiniest details has grown into a brand that’s worn and loved by so many of you. That truly feels unreal when I write it down right now. We’ve built the most fun team, the most amazing community, have made huge sustainable steps, get to ship thousands of orders all over the world every month, and are worn by some of the biggest names in the word. (We’ve just had a styling request from a global fashion icon that I just can’t even believe). With collaborations and magazine features I once only dreamed of, and with prestigious stores like Liberty, Harrods, De Bijenkorf selling Ateljé.

Those are some of the big wins, but these five years have been everything all at once. It’s long hours, big financial risks, tears of frustration, happy dances, pride, and above all, moments of pure joy seeing our pieces out there in the world. Balancing it with two kids has been a challenge in it’s own (and something I’m super proud of too, to be an entrepreneur mom!), but Ateljé truly feels like my first baby. 💌

Ateljé is now bigger than I dared to imagine at the start - I somehow always underestimated myself - but the heart of it is still the same. Creating beautiful, meaningful things that make everyday life a little brighter.
